About Us
Castiza was born from a love of food, fiesta, and family. Founded in 2022, we’ve been serving up sabores auténticos (authentic flavours) ever since – from sizzling paella and classic tapas to our famous chorizo jam and bold, handcrafted sauces like mojo rojo, mojo verde, and salsa brava. You’ll catch us at local markets, private events, and popping up wherever there’s a good crowd and hungry bellies.
We’re all about sharing real Spanish flavours – the kind you remember from a holiday or dream of experiencing one day – and blending them with a little Lincolnshire love.
Meet the Jefa (aka the boss!)
Hola! I’m the founder of Castiza – food lover, host, sauce creator, and cocinera (cook) since forever. I grew up watching my mum and abuela cook with soul and passion, and I knew I wanted to do the same.
When I moved to the UK, I couldn’t find the kind of Spanish food I grew up with… so I started making it myself. What began as grazing boxes turned into pop-ups, events, and a growing range of sauces that people now use in their own homes. The response? Incredible. Over 500 jars sold, live cooking demos on stage, and events full of dancing, laughter, and good food. ¡Qué alegría!

We’ve worked with amazing people like the University of Lincoln, the Chamber of Commerce, KuKu Connect, and loads of happy private clients. At Castiza, everything we make is packed with corazón – heart. Our food is fresh, flavourful, and made with proper ingredients (no nasties here). We use local produce where we can, sell our sauces in reusable glass jars, and reduce waste with apps like Too Good To Go. Plus, we’re proud to support local farmers and collaborate with other indie food makers.
