Terms & Conditions

Deposit and Payment Terms

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking to secure the event date and catering services. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to the event date. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of services, with the deposit retained as a cancellation fee. Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved methods. Full payment is required before any services are provided.

Cancellation Policy

The 50% deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. If cancellation occurs within 90 days of the scheduled event date, the client is liable to pay 75% of the total contract amount. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event, 100% of the total contract amount will be due. Cancellations made more than 90 days before the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit only.

Any cancellation must be submitted in writing via email to castizauk@gmail.com.

Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Any cancellations outside this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the deposit only. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional charges; however, it is not guaranteed.

Changes to Guest Count and Menu

Final guest count and menu selections must be confirmed no later than 15 days before the event date. After this date, no reductions in guest count or package adjustments will be permitted. Increases in guest count may be accommodated based on availability, with additional fees applied per added guest. The Caterer reserves the right to substitute ingredients or items based on seasonal availability or unforeseen circumstances, while maintaining the overall integrity and quality of the menu.

Allergies and Dietary Requirements

The client must inform the Caterer of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or special requirements at least 15 days before the event. While every effort is made to accommodate special dietary needs, the Caterer cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and will not be held liable for any allergic reactions. It is the responsibility of the client to communicate this information to guests.

Liability Limitation

The Caterer is not liable for any damages, loss, or injury that occurs during the event at the client’s venue or any other venue. The client assumes full responsibility for ensuring the safety of guests and property at the venue and agrees that the Caterer shall not be held accountable for unforeseen incidents occurring on site. The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Caterer against any claims arising from the event.

Force Majeure Clause

In the event that the Caterer is unable to fulfil its contractual obligations due to circumstances beyond its control (including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, public health emergencies, or governmental restrictions), the client’s deposit will remain non-refundable. However, if feasible, the Caterer may offer the option to reschedule to a later date, subject to availability and any additional costs incurred.

Health and Safety Protocols

The Caterer adheres to strict food safety and health standards to ensure the safety of all guests. The Caterer reserves the right to refuse service if the client or guests fail to follow any specified health protocols, especially if public health regulations are in effect at the time of the event. Any such refusal or cessation of service will not entitle the client to a refund.

Equipment Hire and Returns
If the Caterer provides or arranges equipment or tableware, the client is responsible for ensuring that all items are returned in good condition. Any damaged or missing items will be charged to the client at replacement cost.

Use of Images

The Caterer may take photographs of food and setups at the event for use in promotional materials or social media. If the client does not wish for their event to be photographed or shared, this must be communicated in writing prior to the event.
